Knee puck repair. What glue?

I got home from a ride today, and the right knee puck pretty much fell off in my hands (separated from the velcro). Left knee puck is not far behind.
The suit is 10 years old (so are the pucks), so I'm not surprised that the glue gave out, but I'm cheap, and I'd rather glue them back on than buy new ones, since the pucks still have plenty of life in them.

So, what glue will stick the puck back on the velcro? Some online reviews say that Gorilla Glue doesn't work, and Super Glue can melt the velcro.
Would a sealant like Lexel work?

E6000 has been my go to adhesive for a couple of years now.
When it absolutely has to stick, 3m 5200 or a similar one part polysulfide.

I just discovered Evo-Stick Impact. Its an instant contact adhesive, so apply to both surfaces, let set up and press together. So far its been pretty amazing.

Lets go fishing!
I second the E6000! Good stuff! I recommend compressing it with something while the glue cures. Also, use a liberal amount of it too.

I have used E6000 on many projects and it has never failed me. I always have a tube on hand. I have read good things about Barge but never used.

Regardless of what you use, the bond will only be a strong as the weakest link in the material stack. Your pucks failed due to old adhesive. You should remove as much of the old adhesive for best results. Probably easier said then done.

And before applying new adhesive, make sure all surfaces are as clean as possible. 99% alcohol will usually be the final cleaning material.
