Woulda KLX110 be remotely competetive at the Unlimited Mini class in Stockton? What mods would be absolutely necessary outta the box? I know the front wheel is bigger than the 50's, so that'd probably have to be swapped out to run decent tires. Would one have to go gung ho w/ one (frame, swing arm, forks, shock, etc, etc,), or could one be somewhat competetive (as in competetive, I mean be a novice racer [altho experienced street rider] and not get run over and/or be a rolling road block. Input is appreciated. :teeth

Check out the 2005 SMRRC rulebook. Ther is no longer a "Unlimited Mini" class. What the KLX110 would be legal for is the Super Mod YSR class.

Below is an exerp from the rulebook under the class Super Mod YSR

from Line 10....

Air cooled 4 strokes up to 110cc (Suzuki DRZ110, Kawasaki KLX110, Extreme CR107) manual 4 speed w/clutch ok. No larger than 12” wheels allowed. Aftermarket pipe, jetting, air filter, controls ok. Aftermarket rear shock ok. Must use stock front forks. Fork springs and internals may be upgraded. Aftermarket swingarm ok.

Hope this helps and if you're interested in joining don't hesitate, get that lisence form in.
