Looks like this killer clown prank is going on all over the country, thanks to Instagram and other social media. I think it's mostly over social media, with "clown gangs" saying they are going to visit schools...Clowns with knives spottings...stuff like that. It is sparking paranoia and talks of vigilante action against them. I'm surprised there was no thread about this already. You guys heard about this?

I think it's just bored high school kids trying to get in on some sort of national Halloween terror prank phenomenon.

I've heard a little on Facebook. One friend was freaked and worried because her high school student said she was instagrammed there were killer clowns coming to her campus. She texted her mom all freaked out. I didn't even think they could do Instagram and texting in school but I'm old as dirt so what do I know.

A man dressed as a clown tried to abduct a one year old in Concord yesterday. I can't link because of the stupid AMP webpage thing but just search for it.

I think it's leading up to Halloween and is an annual thing....I remember reading these stories last October....
