Hey!

I've been told multiple times to join this forum so I finally am sneaking this in during work since I don't have internet hooked up at my new home yet.

I'm moving here from San Diego where I rode on some great roads (twisties/canyons) at least every weekend and spent a lot of time commuting 34 miles one way from downtown area to Carlsbad, CA for 2 and a half years.

I regularly rode Palomar, Banner Grade, Montezuma, etc. down there and I really hope to find similar roads around here. I followed work up to this area and before moving here I had only flown into the airport once on business.

Needless to say I am completely lost here and would love to find some good people and good rides.

I have a few social sites that you can check out to see some of my videos and what my standpoint is on wearing the gear and being a better and safer rider.

I am owner and founder of NOSQUIDDING.com ( http://www.nosquidding.com/ )

I have a YouTube page here: http://www.youtube.com/nickgnaime

And you can look me up on Facebook under Nick Gnaime or check out the NOSQUIDDING.com Facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/nosquidding

I also have a bikepics.com page here: http://bikepics.com/members/gnaime/

I currently own a 2009 ZX10 and a 2012 R1.

I really hope to meet some fellow riders soon and start hitting up some fun rides. I've seen a lot of gearless people around my area...and I drove by a shop only to see cruisers in the window. HELP! :teeth

I ended up riding up to Highway 29 by myself on Sunday morning. When I got there I spent all morning/afternoon going back and forth on it because it was so much fun. Such a great road! I'd say I hit it about a dozen times both ways. Didn't see any other riders out there doing what I was doing, but I still had a blast. It did suck having to ride through slow Napa Valley at the bottom of the mountain, though. Either way, I am sure I will head back there soon as it was a great ride.

I think this weekend I will be heading South to try out some of those roads.
