I'm stiff and sore, bruised left heel and lower back and the top of my fibula on the right leg. Just as I realized I was getting a little rear wheel slide it snapped back and tossed me over the top. I did a somersault landing on my butt and lower back. Got a razzbery on my butt, but my lower back is what is real sore. The bike didn't suffer too bad as it dropped back down on the left side after ejecting me. Left peg and some bodywork scraped up, dented the frame a bit where the bar hit it. I probably could have ridden for points this morning but that thought was out of my mind yesterday afternoon. I should be OK in a few days.

Aw crap Craig. I saw the results and wondered why you weren't up there. Sorry to hear it, especially at BW since it's your fast track.

Glad you're OK. Remember...ice is your friend.

Hey Craig -

Glad to see you made it home OK. Yeah, that was one wild ride you went on, considering how fast your bike came around and how hard you snapped off, I think you made out really well. At least you didn't break anything right .

I don't know if it was the track, the heat, or what but after watching you go down, I had one big powerslide coming out of the bus stop, and then during the races sunday I spun up the rear twice...I've never done that before, and hope to not do it again soon. I think the track was just really slick in spots.

I'm feeling pretty good considering..... Nothing broken, or if it is it's not worth checking, glad my back protector covers my tailbone.
Just a bunch of sore tissue, I'm walking and moving around slowly. I'll get another massage tonight and see if that helps.

I think it was a combination of the pavement and the little hole as you turn left up the hill in T3. It seemed like as soon as ithe rear started spinning it stopped and away I went.....

It wasn't the first lap so the tires should have been plenty warm, I had been going through there about the same speed all day. In fact I probably went through there nearly as fast on the first lap. I had seen a couple other bikes get little slides in the same spot earlier in the day. Maybe it was a little slick, my suspension could be softer, tires newer, body farther off the bike, yadda yadda yadda..... stuff happens and I got caught this time, too bad as I think another top 5 finish would have been possible.

Glad your basically alright...take care of that soft tissue..:teeth

On the subject of the thread..it was cool having Steveco send out the updates after the race...I am not sure lot's of peeps new about it..but were going to do it again next time..

He needs a bigger keyboard or tiny fingers..took a while to type, but it is a cool deal for BARF Racing to do I think..

A top ten list would be nice..but with limited time it just limits us more..we need to take baby steps to make sure we don't shit in our diaper...:laughing

Easier to improve slowley than start great and screw up a good thing.

Make sure to check out Net-moto episode 4...will have lots of AFM stuff to enjoy..and we bagged some good footage for some other fun projects later in the year too..

I hope that the work we are doing is making you AFM boys and girls feel the BARF :twofinger (love)
