So Joey Pascarella was at RPM (indoor kart racing) Monday running the full course. Evidently he has kart skills as well. He almost had the fast time of the day.

Wow I didn't even notice the OP was Dirtyd, ahah thats pretty badass. Don't they counter weight the karts to some extent?

I took a friend who races at the top level, and he was top 10 overall at GoKart racer in Burlingame, for the YEAR.

Some people just have skills.

I beat Berto last time we went.


I think the counterweighting of karts is a bit of a myth. They MIGHT have different chassis, etc., to accomodate bigger sized people. But the biggest variables in these places is temperature (1-2 HP due to heat is a MAJOR factor) and PSI in the tires. So good luck finding the right rig to win with..

A Kart is counterweighted to lift the inside tire. They have solid rear axles.

I'm guessing 1 each and Joey takes Tommy's bike if he really needs it for the race? The tire rules now mean that a second bike is basically useless in practice and qualifying.
