Lou, you need to come out of the woods and get to civilization more often. Those things are everywhere in the bay area.

Gotta admit though, every time I see one it grabs my attention. I'm thinking of renting one for a day.

My cousin mentioned there was a turbo'd one on the Snake this past Sunday. No pics though.

Was about to go check them out in person this weekend.

1700lbs and 175 hp .. hard to argue with that.

That lone rear wheel just makes me feel uneasy. For spirited 'moto-like' driving anyway. In fact, this semi-confirms my concern:

Granted, stability control was off - but still, just sayin.

I observed one taking some S turns at speed on 1 just above Stinson a couple weeks ago... the thing was not composed. You definitely don't want to get 'sling-shot' off the Hwy 1 cliffs.

Dude that video is crazy looking, you see his head hit pavement and fold in.

I saw a gang of these losers pull up to Alice's Restaurant and man they thought they were the shit. Those are in the same category as the CanAm spider, they suck. They remind me of quad or even Harley riders. Ya I said it. :twofinger

If I needed HOV access from a car, I think that would top my list. Leaf and the rest are expensive for the short range vehicles they are. Slingshot is less, goes farther and looks more fun. Also the trike's HOV access doesn't expire in a few years like the HOV stickers do.
