Chili Pie or Frito Pie was a weekly lunch meal at the Jr. High I went to.

Heated, canned chili over Fritos was the main dish.

I will still make it occasionally myself. Sometimes with canned chili and others from scratch chili. Guilty pleasures.

P.S. I do like pie with ice cream though. The pic in the OP looks delicious.
