Is it smog legal in all 50 states? Otherwise it has to have 7,500 miles on it before you can register it in CA.

It isn't worth a dime until you see it. "Adult owned" means zip. Seen a lot of adults ride like kids and nothing says the adult isn't letting the kids ride it either.

Nice Triumphs often command top dollar. Less than fantastic condition and their values go into the toilet.

The bike has been ridden only to keep the battery charged? Means lots of short trips. Would have been better to store it properly than ride it once a month for a few minutes to keep the battery ok.

I'd ask for the once a year oil change receipts, battery receipts (can't be the original, if it is, new battery time).

Fine tooth comb time. Tires changed for time or worn? If worn, how about the brakes?

It could be a real jewel or something that needs brake lines (were the brakes bled on schedule?) hoses (was rad flushed?). All that stuff.

Send the buyer the laundry list questions. No answer, walk away, they made a bunch of them.

Adult owned, lol. By legal definition that's everyone 18+ :laughing

And how many sportbikes are owned by 16 and 17 yo's

It's been posted for 19 days. It's worth a lowball offer at this point. In California I'd say it'd sell at that price. Dunno about the FL market though.

I bought a Florida bike once. It had, of all things, rust. Unless you see it, hear it, touch and feel it - NO.

Yeah that's not a typical Floriduh bike

They want liter bikes and pimped-out hyperbikes with extended swingarms

$4455 is Kbb and I don't know Florida so go ahead and try to see how motivated seller is but i'm thinking he may be set at $4200 since he is already well below kbb and the bike appears to be immaculate. Go for it op.:thumbup

KBB and NADA often do not represent the realistic market value of a vehicle, especially motorcycles, where they can be wildly wrong. They are ok guides, but they are not gospel.

No one pays $4455 for anything. $4200 isn't "well" below $4455, which may not be realistic for the time and place anyways. In my opinion, $3800 is not low-ball.

Not that surprising. It is humid as hell in Florida. Hmmm. Well hell probably isn't humid, but you know what I mean ;-)

You have to watch out for hurricane damage with any vehicle over that way. Storm surges can drive salt water into garages etc. If vehicle gets soaked with salt water, electrical problems can be a lifetime plague. If you can see it and it is in any way practical (possible? I don't know the 675 physically) try looking in the air box or anywhere else that might reveal evedence of being under water.

I expect it is pretty unlikely, but I say this having lived in Mississippi when Katrina struck in 2005. There's been a couple of Florida hurricanes since then.
