Is it legal ride to Yosemite? Truck your bike to Carnegie?

Is it legal to ride a motorcycle or drive a car to Yosemite? Like many things, it remains open to visit. But unless you can get there on your fitness walk/run/bicycle trip, or have essential business there, it doesn't seem like it's actually legal to visit.

So maybe for people who live in Wawona or El Portal, but not for the rest of us?

I understand Carnegie SVRA is open as well. Is it even legal to take a dirt bike there, whether trucking it, or riding a plated one?

I guess if a park is open you probably won't get busted for visiting while there, though I suppose it could happen on the way.

Well as of 3PM today Yosemite is closed, so that part is moot.

I think Carnegie is still open though.

That's too bad on Yosemite closing, it's only an hour away from where I live. :( :ride

I’m in Miramonte up the hill from you. We cruised around in the Jeep today, ended up going into Kings Canyon on dirt and saw a note at the entrance (exit?) saying the parks were closed. We didn’t realize that or we wouldn’t have ended up there.

My interpretation of the county directives is traveling to a park to exercise is permissible. If Carny and Holly are open, that is sanctioned exercise. You would be good.

Newsome thing is more difficult to evaluate.

I went yesterday. Tits.
