Interested in mentoring at-risk youth?

Hello my fellow Barfers,

I recenlty learned about a great program focused on metoring youth in the South Bay/Peninsula area. It's through a group called "Friends for Youth" and their office is located in Redwood City.

Basically, students ranging in ages 12-17 are referred to the program by their school counselors/teachers because they have been found to need some kind of mentoring.

Many of us are very fortunate. We have extra time to ride motorcycles, purchase motorcycles, and I believe we have very talented individuals on this forum that could make a huge difference in a young person's life. :thumbup

haha, this remind me of when i was forced to volunteer to community service for 16 hours to apply to a good school. I volunteered to tutor inner city you some math.

I think at this point is when i became a racist asshole. Fuck you nigga. Naw fuck that nigga..

This is how i was spoken to for the majority of 16 hours. I ended up jsut doing the homework for them and we were all alot happier.

But good luck to who ever does it.
