home made fender eliminator or aftermarket? what kind of braided lines are those?

Home grown fender-hack...saving my nickels for an undertail
and hugger though..

The bike was used, and came with the brake lines so maybe
someone can tell me what kind they are...
they're blue with red anodized banjo fittings...
is that a particular vendors signature colors???

Pretty sweet. Are those Goodrigde or Galfer front brake hoses?

Thanks for the 'luv' fellas..!

You tell me, cuz the brake lines were on there when I bought
it(used)...

Hey maybe someone can help me...it also has an aftermarket
rear sprocket, which results in inaccurate speedo speeds..what's
a good way to correct this?

Isn't speedo hooked to the front tire? A larger or smaller rear sprocket wouldn't affect your speedo reading. Only thing that would is if your front tire circumference changes.

IIRC, on gix, they don't use tire speed to calculate mph. not entirely sure but i believe the speedo sensor is hooked up somewhere near the driveshaft. best to ask the gixxer.com board on that. i don't think any bikes have the speed sensor on the tires/rims. i put the bike in gear on the rear stand and it did read a diff. mph on both the gix and R6. the R6 didn't have a chain at 1 point cause I was doing the 520 conversion.

the best way to correct it is to use the yellowbox speed calibrator. there isn't a way you can mod your speedo to adjust for sprocket changes. it's either the yellowbox or switch back to stock gearing.

I was rather taken aback the other day when rolling the bike down the driveway when the speedo worked... in REVERSE! So much for backing the odometer off by spinning it backward. :D
