Not sure what the outcome here is, but that's been enough to kill plenty of other riders. I appreciate the warning before I watch a video where someone dies.

at 3:30 you start getting into real brutal crashes. Content warning is totally valid here.

now you can just go to /r/watchpeopledie. kids have it so easy these days!

If that's your thing. I tried to watch the Daniel Pearl video. turned out the edit that I watched had a black box that popped up as soon as the blade came down and covered the action. I still felt sick for a few hours, and I guess that told me that I jsut don't have the stomach for that sort of thing.

Photos are fine for me, but the video is something else.

Yeah, I got curious at the moment. It was the sounds with the video that really made it awful.

I don't think the rider was struck by the camera bike, just the banner he tore loose, but that was dam close! There are a hand-full of nasty ones starting at 3:18

Yeah, I'd want a warning for that too.

I was surprised by the editing with the introduction of the "crashes section". It felt joyous and enthralling to watch and then turned on a brutal dime for some things that made me wonder if the rider survived.

AND that's my reaction when I knew what sort of thing I'd see already.

I think the editing was done rather well and it used that story-pivot well, reminding us that even with the thrills, it's often going to be tied in with tumult.
