I'm dying here.. need recommendation for bike rentals

Been in FL for over a year now and it absolutely SUCKS not being able to ride the canyon roads of CA. I miss roads like Redwood, HWY 9, Mines/Mt. Hamilton, Skyline, etc.. I have a Ninja 300 and let me tell you, I almost jumped the gun on a [ZX14/Turbo Busa] the other day just so I can be a typical squid going 190mph+ on the boring, barren, empty, flat roads of SWFL.

The good news -- I'll be visiting the Bay for a couple of weeks in late August to early September! I want to do a full day of riding on one of the weekends, but I want to rent a 250cc or 300cc (N300, R3, CBR250 etc..). I have never rented a motorcycle before.. where does one go to rent for a day of fun?

I didn't see anything on their site about renting gear. That would seem to be an important point. And I didn't see any of the bikes that he was looking to ride.

If I was in Jax or Tallahassee, I totally would. But Cape Coral is too far down for a nice trip like that.

Tail of the dragon is a fine road, but overrated and crowded. Certainly a long drive from Cape Coral to any decent riding, but it's about as long as the flight to CA!

I lived outside of Orlando for about 4 months, what a wretched place. Couldn't imagine being a motorcyclist there. I'd probably be doing as many track days as I could afford. But, really, I like riding on the street and exploring. So I can feel your pain there.

I don't know of any place in the bay that rents 250-300s. But the pricing is similar between Dubbelju and everywhere else and they're great people. Anywhere in the Western world, it's not cheap to rent a motorcycle. Why is it that you want a smaller displacement motorcycle?

Depending on timing I may be able to lend you my WR250X for a few days. Obv you're on the hook for repairs and such should you crash.

Yes. I know people who have rented. I have also rented. as a renter you are on the hook for all damages. The rider-share company will run a background check on you. The founder of the business joined BARF recently as well.
