Greetings and salutations from Oakland. I actually spent most of my life in WV and then NC, but lived the last 7 in San Francisco. I moved to Oakland for a change of pace and a refresher. I've been riding since I was 10 or so and grew up tearing ass through the hills of WV on 2, 3, and 4 wheelers of many different makes and models. My older brother had the first model year Quadracer made (85), and I still have a limp and visible scars from it. I wore out the next 10 or so until I finally got my driver's license at 19. I didn't have a street legal vehicle from 16-19 so, I didn't need the license...
I currently ride a '09 BMW R1200GS and love putting around in low gears along the backroads. I've had several semi-long trips about California and have a large portion of NorCal covered. I'm into exploring new areas locally and within a few hours ride. Besides that, I work for a video game developer and I've played guitar for 28 years.
