How to park your car on a 500 gal. propane tank.

Uhh huh
So I'm down by the shop working on the tractor when I hear a VERY loud car crash at the top of the driveway. I run up top and there is a white Honda Accord on top of our FULL 500 gallon propane tank on the verge of sliding down the hill into the house.
The guy didn't make the turn on Old Santa Cruz Hwy and went through the fence, missed my race trailer by 2 feet, ran over some spare R6 fairings, an R6 swingarm, my bicycle, and my RS 250 spare rear wheel, hit the propane tank (which left a tire mark on the cover to the valves) bounced over the tank, and came to a stop half on the tank, half on a dead tree. The next stop for him would hae been in the side of the house 30 feet down the hill.
If he sheared the valves off the tank he would have been a crispy critter, along with half the mountain.
He was so overweight that it took 5 firemen to pull him out of the car.

Holy crap. :wow

That's a lot of stuff the dude plowed through. Maybe you should park a bunch of busted Kawasakis up there, too. Those would do a better job of slowing 'em down than your bicycle (poor bike!). Then again, you don't want 'em to fly through the windshield, either.

Can I be....frank?
Skurry man, skurry. Hope he had insurance to pay for all your damages...he collided with your 1098S so hard the bike was pulverized and no pieces are left. ;)

TCK!

BARF is not M4M
wow! That's some crazy shit.. time for a blinking light and signage or something... damn lucky he didn't rape the tank completely...

What a douchebag... :nerd Don't you guys get tired of all the $hitheads that don't know how to drive??

Think twice about asking for the guard rail and using the propane tank as the reason... you never know, they could end up forcing YOU to move the tank.

Glad it didn't turn out too bad.

I've seen a few of those blow off in a forest fire. Usually the valve pops off and you get a nice hundred foot column of flame like a torch. Probably hot enough to start a nice little fire in the woods.

It's not just the propane tank, There are several spots where a car could go between the trees and make it all the way to the house.
