How to get rid of slightly damaged used helmet?

I'm replacing my Suomy Apex Medium helmet. I hate to throw it(old one) away.

Any takers or know of any takers? Could be used in an emergency or whatever I think.

What do you mean by "damaged"? If it was crushed, it's trash. If it was just dropped or scuffed, it's probably (mostly) okay.

If you just want it gone, I wouldn't hate having a spare.

anybody have experience with the older Suomy Spec1R and Apex helmets? Is it me or do the Apex helmets run smaller?

I fell off the bike at low speed, so it is slightly scuffed.

I have a hoarding problem with my old helmets. I can't seem to throw any of them out. They just bring back all the fun I had on them when I look at them and I can't do it. I have 12 years worth of helmets taking up cabinet space in my apartment :/

Maybe I'll make lamps out of them some day.

I was collecting helmets for emt school, but I'm in SF. You could swing by a fire station or CSM down there.

1. Ride to Berkeley, good helmet on your head, used helmet bungeed to seat.
2. Park near campus.
3. Hang used helmet on mirror, carry good one under your arm, walk away.
4. Drink coffee for an hour.
5. Return to motorcycle. Used helmet is gone.
