I used to post this poll every year, back in the day. So here we are.

2020 was a weird year. Didja get any riding in anyway?

Not enough. Deterrents- CoVid, smoke, more CoVid, more smoke and political unrest. December adds rain. Hope Jumanji ends soon. Tired of playing.

at least this much I finished the Trans America Trail in 2020

I rode almost daily doing door dash also =) Essential service food transportation!

Are we having fun yet?
I rode almost 12k miles in 2020, about average for my annual mileage.

In a normal year I'd be away from home (and miss riding) for 2-3 months for work and vacation. In 2020 there was no work trip after January and no vacation trip, but I didn't ride for about 1.5 months between March and May due to shelter in place.

2300, pretty much all in-city commuting. I think a usual year for me is more like 3500-4000 but wasn't able to go to the gym, plus switching out the moto for bicycle commuting to help compensate for lack of gym

Just a bit over a thousand. 5 Rallies killed about 4,000 miles of smiles.

Reasons are spelled out above. In July an electrical glitch left me needing to take the bike to the shop and then the need to work 7 days a week consumed me from there. Now work has lightened and I still need to get to the shop and now I get to worry about having enough work to survive '21.

First time in a long time I did not do a yearly summary of barf. Thought about it, but the year has been so depressing I just said fug it.

Truly hope we find ourselves in a better place by September.

Will look to do that soon and get in some more miles in 2021.
Plan is to ride my ass off as often as possible.

As for me, I rode 4070 miles on the new bike I bought (with impeccable timing) in February. Plus, I’m guessing, a couple hundred on the one I got rid of.

Lets go fishing!
Between all 4 bikes of mine, roughly 4,200 miles... Which sucks because I typically averaged 12k in Texas on my Harley. Hoping 2021 will be WAY BETTER! Also, I plan on making the trip to the North Bay an annual thing for me. I really fell in love with the motorcycling out here. The roads are amazing, tons of different routes to ride, great motorcycle community, and lane filtering in CA is badass.

I had to look under your name to see if you have any ICE bikes listed. Else I'd be wondering how you managed the TAT on an electric.

Oh you can bet if I can make or buy an electric adventure bike that can do 200+ mile range and doesn't weigh a ton I'm going to try it! No more worrying about altitude, warming up the bike, stalling the bike...

I have finished the WHOLE TAT, here's the mileage for my first TAT trip

I did a bunch of 1/4 mile passes too! Probably like 35 passes without burning any gas too! I never got 1st or 2nd place though =(

Mine was basically the 2020 Weaverville Rally and some riding at Hollister.
Both on the TW250.

So over 300 miles but well under 1000.

i voted "none at all," but truthfully I rode about 25 miles.

I had a frozen/corroded gas cap that I had to get open. still trying to scrub in those 'newish' tires. I guess i should ride tomorrow.

First, all the smoke. Then, fires in my area, then had to evacuate. Thankfully fires didn't get too close, and was able to head back home in roughly two weeks. Weeks worth of smoke afterwards, and then by the time I uncovered by bike, the stanchions on the forks were rusted beyond help. Had bubbling under the chrome plating and everything.

Before all the fires and smoke, I was dealing with intermittently leaking fork seals, and had wiped the stanchions clean, and then covered the bike, where it sat until months later. Of course, neither seal leaked, so courtesy of the damp coastal air and the stanchions being free of any oil, they were ruined. Spent a while trying to decide what to do, until I stumbled on some used Z1000 forks that had been reworked by Racetech, and had the works! Low miles on 'em, and got a great deal. Haven't bothered to put them on as that didn't happen until October. No point now as winter sets in and hammers the coast. I rode the poor Ninja all of THREE times this year, and that was solely for commuting.

Was going to ride with my father at Metcalf last Thursday while I had some actual time off, but rain took care of those plans. At this rate, I'll be lucky to get one or two sessions in on my dirt bike, and the street bike won't see any miles until winter pisses off(maybe May? hard to predict in the mountains). On the upside, I got my little Madass 125 working properly, and rode that a few times without issues, so that was nice! :laughing

I started the year off with a badly broken ankle in January and could not ride for many months without significant pain.
Finally got to where I could ride in June.

I rode a total of about 4k miles in 2020. 1500 of that in one week that I rode to SoCal due to being stircrazy!

I typically ride >10k miles.
