How do you “Surf” the b.a.r.f.?

Funny, I hear complaints all the time about how people argue over stupid stuff on the site, get angry, leave, come back, get suspended, leave again etc...

Since it's inception, the only way I ever look at b.a.r.f. is by clicking "New Posts". I get to go back to the last time I was online and see everything that's been going on.

I look at the stuff that interests me, be it in General or the Sink and leave the rest alone. (Life's too short for the :bs)

The only other way I check the board is by doing an advanced search for my user name to see if there are replies to discussions I'm already in or by searching for a specific thing like "Arai"

So, how do you navigate our wonderful forum?

I have 4 or 5 subforums that I click and look at any potentially interesting threads/new posts, that's all. Avoid politics and other drama for the most part.

On the odd hour that I've finished the internet, I might venture into Photos.

I jump to a few select sub forums

I bookmark my CP (control panel) so when I open teh BRAF it shows all my subscribed sub-forums, and my subscribed threads that are unread.
I can see right away if there is anything new in the sub-forums I’m subscribed to.
When I’m done there I click “New Posts” and wade into the pool…

I browse a few subforums regularly, and then go to others much less.

I open General, and browse. I rarely post there. I open KS, and the politics subforum. Depends on mood posting there. I also open Sink pics and vids. Those are my most regular.

I would say in varying degrees I also visit moto photos, social gatherings, and classifieds.

That's why I put "I check my subscribed sub-forums" Added "threads"

I do New Posts and then KS. Because the first does not seem to include the second.

If I'm subscribed to something then I get email and will click it from there. Same for PMs.
