Wifey and I DoorDashed Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner tonight and she wanted ranch, which is her dipping of choice for most stuff. I tried to preach the inherent wrongness of her choice, but she’s a picky eater.
Some folks don’t get it....

Neither. Ranch is gross and hot wings already have sauce on them. Don't need the extra side of arterial congestion.

Yep, I haven't had them in at least a decade, but hot wings are already seasoned, save your dipping sauce of choice for tasteless things like celery.

VP from Buffalo I worked for a couple of companies ago and I were down at a bar in Burlingame one night, you should have heard the epic rant when they asked him if he wanted ranch with his wings. :laughing
The other night though I did have ranch with the wings I made because that was a we had in the fridge. :dunno

Er. . . both Ranch and Bleu Cheese condiments are for the healthy, good for you celery sticks. If you dip a hot wing in the sauce then you are a philistine and will ignore the celery stick anyway. (Flame on, I guess. . . .)
No tolerence for dairy in my tract so my go-to is equal parts mayo with fresh horseradish. Cool and sharp at the same time accentuating the crunch of the celery.
Good wings need no apres stove enhancement. a) Roast wings after slathering w/Crystal or Tobasco, retain drippings. b) thicken drippings with cornstarch, add black pepper and garlic. c) Toss wings in thickened sauce and broil for an additional ten minutes.
When you don't want to share, use habanero sauce and double the black pepper. That sorts out the wheat from chaff in your circle of friends.
Wife is now successfully recalibrated to the hot side of things, we burn through hot sauce (pun intended) by the case.

I've been meaning to try the new wings and pancakes place that just opened near my house a few months ago.
