Anybody else feel like going? My plan is to camp there for the weekend, but if you can only go one day or the other, that's cool too.

At this point, I'm still planning on going all weekend, but it would be nice to have a couple of people to ride with on Saturday.

K, I swapped to Sat. I have another friend who may join us if the group is small (he doesn't like big groups) and my friend Julie will be with me.

I'm a maybe on Sun.

Bah.

Come both days. I will if I can swing it. :party
Will do!
Had an epic time @ Carnegie this past Sat with Rick! I should have a new rear tire by this Sat too. Despirately needed. My tire is as bald as my head right now.

So you guys are willing to ride troll trail right? :D

I would like to do Troll, but I'm not sure if I have the required skillset.

I walked a couple hundred yards of it last week, but I don't think that is indicative of what the whole trail is like.

I may pop over Thurs with some hiking boots and walk the entire trail to get an idea of what it is like.

It's really not that bad , there are a few rocky/rooty spots and a couple washed spots but overall its not bad. It would be a squeeze if you tried riding down it on something like an XR650 though but overall an intermediate rider should have no issue. There are no gnarly climbs or anything, just some tight and skinny spots. It gets overgrown regularly so Bark busters highly recommended.

I agree. You'll be fine. Seriously, my friend Tedd took me on it my 2nd time on a dirtbike (as an adult) last year I hated him for it but I made it just fine and it was a blast!

I've only been to Hollister a couple of times (and it's been quite a while), but I'll try anything. Troll Trail, here I come! :thumbup

I'll probably drive down sometime on Friday. Where's the best place to camp with a motorhome and trailer?
