I work maintenance in SF, today I had to climb up the building ladder for a job and it was freaking HIGHHHHH!!! like 25 stories, my heart skipped a beat and my breath was short, right then and there I learned it was about breathing and patience and not looking down as I felt a little dizzy when I looked but at the top it was well worth it. I faced my fear and the second time I climbed today it felt like nothing but fun, Still kinda scary on the way down, next time I think I will grab a parachute and jump:laughing........................ Damn graffiti:mad

I have done one tandem jump, they kind of boring. Well I guess free fall is fun, but after the shoot is open even with all the twists and stuff still kind of boring.

you have to get a free fall license takes a tandom or 3, than they jump whilie holding you and than you have to prove you are able to do some basic things while belly flying. it cost around 1500 i think, but i mean the gear is pretty pricey too somewhere around mid thousand as well.... you could rent them though. when you go to the lodi they have classes there. just ask any of the instructors.

and word of advice if you get a choice of who you jump with. find somone who is going to jump in regular cloths because they will land on their feet every time. if you pick someone in a suit they may decided to land on there ass.

Yes I'm BradStyle's friend.

Anyway, that's not true : ) with a tandem pair, Wind and wingload make a huge difference whether you land standing or sliding in. Its not safe to stand up if the forward ground speed is fairly high. Instructors would rather land standing but its not always a safe choice. A jumpsuit isn't required. If you want to keep your good clothes from grass stains, you can wear a jumpsuit or thrashable clothes.

o haha, well ino if they arent feeling the landing they are going to land however feels safest but from what i have observed is the ones in plain cloths make more of an effort to land standing up.

good to hear your still flying there. i was "let go" from ifly because i was rearended while on my motorcycle and than two days later my truck broke down and than the next day i couldn't get to some b.s. meeting and because i didnt give emiko the formality of a phone call she fired me haha, whata bitch. but of course everyone else there knew i was going to make it and knew my situation.
