Don't be that guy.
Hello BARF,
I'm a field sales rep for Dell EMC. My engineer took a promotion to focus on larger clients so I'm in need of a backfill for his position.
The gist of the job is that the candidate and I will work together in partnership, providing the sales and technical acumen needed to win business. The candidate must be comfortable presenting to multiple people in a room at a highly articulate and technical level.
The portfolio we represent provides enterprise class data center solutions for backup, data protection, disaster recovery, etc, across multiple environments IE cloud, on-premis, virutalized, converged etc.
We work primarily with mid-market to mid-market enterprise customers across the entire bay area.
This is a highly coveted position within the largest IT organization in the world. It's a remote job with extreme flexibility. You make your schedule and chose where to work from. All travel and expenses are reimbursed. You receive a corporate card to wine and dine customers and take them out to events. You never need to sit behind a desk again if you don't want to. Drive around and visit all of the top tech companies in Silicon Valley. All of this flexibility is offset with a work grind that isn't for everyone. It's not your typical 9-5 job.
Shoot me a PM if interested and we can discuss further. Happy to answer any further questions on here.
Requirements:
-Prior experience in the backup/data protection space is a huge plus, but not required. However, you must have the underlying technical acumen to be able to learn the solutions and be able to talk intelligently about them. Our typical audience ranges from IT manager, Database Admins, IT Directors, and VP/C-Level execs, etc.
-ability to speak and present to large audiences
-ability to white-board architectures and design planning
-must be okay to travel around the bay area
