gone for now
They ought to open the road back up and let the semi I see back there drive though. At some point something like that is going to happen, and people will realize how bad of an idea it is to block the highway.

Be Here Now
Hook them up to the bumper and drag them out of the way.

Seriously lame.

I can't clearly comprehend what the fuck they are protesting exactly??

Police, tuition AND racism? All in one protest?

Looks like there was enough room on the right to get around. What would the legal ramifications be if you used your vehicle to push one of their vehicles out of the way?

They're mad because they got bullied by the homeless at San Jose State. I saw it on the news last night. No political will to kick hobo ass to get em off the campus.

Why can't the police just cuff them and drag them out of the way??

Because they are all connected and there's cement in all the trash cans. I'm sure that they have spotters, lawyers, in the area filming the cops hoping for a nice juicy lawsuit.

I have a couple of UCSC student friend that are not happy about this and the upcoming protests on campus.

I'd say their heart is in the right place, but their methods misguided.

They claim the trash cans are 700lb. Not sure how they got them there in the first place in that case.

They drove up in a U-haul truck and unloaded the cans. I think they mean, combined 700 pounds.

At some point, stop calling them protests, and call them video shoots or something, or perhaps opportunity drawings. That's what its all about. #blacklivesmatter COULD be seen as a franchise, a project, a money-generating venture. Certainly they could learn from Jesse Jackson and Sharptongue about using protests for profit.

Because no matter what the police do, it looks bad. Unless they do nothing.

They're sitting ducks. Baton thwak to the temple of each of 'em and I imaging they wouldn't be that hard to move. Get some furniture dollies and the cans should roll pretty easy. :party

700lb over a few cans isn't too hard to move with people. Or, show up will a rollback, hook up a winch to one end of the chain, and drag the whole assembly on.
