Soooo I've been dabbling in paint and a barfer asked if I could toss some paint on a bike he was assembling for our beloved future mod. Sure why not?

I'm moving away so my shop is basically packed up. This means makeshift fixtures for body work.

Mike wanted red but.....I had to put my two cents in, and by two cents, I mean heavy amounts of metalflake.

Cleared-needs buffing after it cures. We'll see if I manage it before I move.

For a less useless answer.....

I do nothing about the dust. Some people try and clean it out, which just puts it in the air, and then into your paint. One of the best painters I know has inch-think dust on the rafters of his barn. Another one does it outside under a tarp-both do it better'n I could in a booth.

Guys without access to a paint booth usually take a water hose and spray down the floors and walls of their garage and wait for the dust to settle.
Much less dust when everything is wet.

That is the clear you're seeing. It needs to cure before I can buff it, but hey, thanks for being critical. Please post up your paint.

Pff. I specifically asked for orange peel. I want it to match the texture of my walls.
