Herrin to replace Beaubier

How isnno one posting this? They're making Herrin Factory again!!!

Ha, guess that's sweet redemption after his Meen motorsports team dropped the round to protest. Guess Yamaha has no problems with Herrin!

If he performs, would bode well for his replacing old man Hayes. Guess that'd be ok. Not sure who else might make sense besides Gerloff or Beach, who may deserve their turn more than Josh and this is and will always be temporary.

Wish Kawi and Aprilia would get in the mix hard with real factory efforts.

Already posted in the latest MotoAmerica thread.

Might not hurt to include the part about Beaubier being out due to shoulder surgery because your post doesn't reference the reason Herrin is getting the substitute role. :p

IMHO, Herrin was a snotty li'l sh*t with a rotten attitude during the time he snagged that AMA Pro SBK crown from Melissa's hubby

IIRC, he was next a defending Champ without a ride - then he went to Yurrip for Moto2 [teamed with Zarco] & got body-slammed repeatedly, Michael Andretti-style

he's matured a ton as a person since then -
YamahaUS & McCarty must've forgiven the kid & accepted the man [I finally have.....]

Agree, he certainly came across as a douche back then. Especially with the BS with Eslick, etc. That petty shit really doesn't belong in pro sports of any kind.

But agree, he has done a complete 180 and I bet that time in Europe has really humbled him and given him a reality check on how bad it can be.

I'm a fan of his after his Brotogp interview, because it was so revealing and it exposed him as a human being, which was really cool.
