Helping Nature of Bay Area Motorcyclists

On my way to work today. I forgot to tie my chin strap on my helmet and the cover on my bag came loose. So i stopped on the shoulder to fix them. No car or truck stopped to find out, which is ok. But there was this motorcyclist who pulled over on to the shoulder on the left side(next to carpool lane) to find out if i was ok. I was so impressed with his gesture. I know that motorcycle community in bay area is one of the best in the country and always looks out to help fellow riders. This incident proved that again. Just want to pass the positive vibes i felt because of the incident.

Cheers!

Uh, I’ll never intentionally pull off into the shoulder next to the #1 lane.

Pulling back on is way too dangerous.

If that was you on 87N, I was the one on the yellow GS who stopped on the left shoulder.

Thats exactly what we all riders do. Pay it forward, car or motorcycle.

That was me who pulled over to the shoulder. Trust me, I did it in the most controlled way and merged back most cautiously. Knew my 1200GS could do it. 0-65 in X.Y secs. Been riding almost 30 yrs. Hope to keep riding another 30. :thumbup

You guys rock.
Still, always try to go to the right. Cars in the left lane are going 100 feet per second. Gives me a rush just thinking about it.

We are a community, eh?

Electric motorcycles are pretty darn slow, so that might explain your problem :twofinger
