Hi folks. I just joined a few minutes ago...
Anyway I've been living with regret for 8 years for selling my 1983 Yamaha XJ550 Seca. I miss her, she was a fine motorcycle. Rear set footpegs, 4-into-1 exhaust. She was light, nimble, and fast enough to get my in trouble if I tried.
So I finally picked up a bike this last week and it feels good to be on two wheels again. I got a 1991 Kawasaki Ninja 600R. She's in good shape, has all the plastics, 11K miles. She idles a bit rough without the choke for the first 15 minutes or so. I need to replace the front tire Real-Soon-Now™, change the oil, flush the coolant, replace the oil filter, air filter, etc. I think in the course of a week I've removed 5 pounds of dirt and grime from her.
Anyway just saying "Hi!".
