That may have been the case 30 years ago, but not anymore. With logistics being as cheap as it is, moving production to somewhere else usually makes more economic sense. These are all things that you'd have hoped his economic advisors would have warned him about (maybe they did?)...: |

It sounds like they will keep making bikes intended for the US market here. If it affects sales, it probably won't be because the product is made overseas, but because they moved some manufacturing jobs overseas.

Aren't a far number of the parts already made overseas and the bikes are just assembled in the US? My understanding is Harley has not been really American made for quite a while?

Surprised that Harley-Davidson, of all companies, would be the first to wave the White Flag. I fought hard for them and ultimately they will not pay tariffs selling into the E.U., which has hurt us badly on trade, down $151 Billion. Taxes just a Harley excuse - be patient! #MAGA
