Harley changing it up, again.

An ADV, Street fighter and an electric are in HD's future as they fight to remain relevant. Dwlindling sales and an expiring demographic may have finally resonated with the Milwaukee brand and forced their hand to make this change.

Erik changed my life
The styling on the ADV is not my thing at all, but especially the headlight.

I do like the naked, but its ready-to-ride weight will determine my interest. Over 500lbs? Not interested. The closer it is to 400, the more interested I will be.

Yea, that ADV bike looks like something out of the Thunderbirds.

At a glance, the first looks like a render, while the second looks like a real bike.

Simmer down. You weren't expecting them to beat ktm on their first try were you.

Ya beat me to it, I wanted to post this:x

Now we just wait and see exactly what the production models look like and will people buy them? Attitudes at dealerships are going to have to change as well.

I don't see anyone being mad. I see people criticizing motrocycles, the same way they do around here for damn near every new bike.

Personally, I'm quite happy to see Harley changing and potentially making something that people outside their demographic may ride. They're going to have to adapt or die and this is shows they're trying to adapt.

But if they make a 85hp, 700lb Street fighter, they're going to get some shit.

Woah that’s bold of Harley, even if it looks dumb. I wonder how much the adv bike will weigh though.

Not bad at all IMO.

Yeah the headlight is pretty different, but those things might corner some folks in a newer style way.

The street fighter is nice looking. Pretty damn nice.

I can't imagine stuffing that boat anchor of a motor into a street fighter chassis is really going to attract the kind of buyers who like street fighters. And you know it's going to be way underpowered versus the competition.

Just more shit I'll have to ride around after they break down on the trail.
Leave that stuff to KTM and the like and stick to what you're good at Harley.....selling attitude and a claimed lifestyle.

That naked looks awesome. Don’t care what it weighs. I ain’t about canyon carving anymore. But something smaller than my full dresser would be nice to have to putt around on every so often.

Not entirely sure why they’re calling it “new” engines though. 60 degree DOHC liquid cooled, one of them being 1250cc? Have we all already forgotten what was in in the V-Rod already?

Using “mad” loosely here. More like complaining.

This hopefully isn't going to be an aircooled hog lump. Especially if it's derived from their Revolution engine, which was 165bhp at top spec if I remember correctly...
