Pissant Squid #186
This question is for people who know how to play horse (or in my case P.I.G. to accommodate a shorter game).
In horse if a player says the shot they are attempting must be a bank shot then the ball must bounce off of the backboard. If a player says the shot must be a swish then the ball must go through the hoop without touching the backboard or rim.
Question: If no specification is called out and the player shooting does not hit the backboard can the following player's shot bounce off of the backboard?
My contention is that if no specification is made before the shot then the following player may or may not let the ball touch the backboard.
Example: If a shooter does not call bank (or any other specification) and the ball touches the backboard, that was just a shot and the following shooter basically just has to make the ball go in shooting from the same place.
