Guy Martin breaks world record on wall of death

Very ballsy.

He could learn something from that one guy on mulholland and use the hanging off style of riding.

Not as fast as I look.
Well if the average human head weighs about 13 lbs and the article said Guy experienced 5.2 g's, then his neck needs to support about 80 lbs, including his helmet.
Thus for Martin, he only had to support about 40lbs, since any fool knows that to be fast at the IOMTT, you can only have half a brain. :teeth Amazing that he is only 34. It seems like he has been riding the TT since forever.

If you look at the picture, hanging off would not be what you'd want to do.

Well, I enjoyed watching that video. :cool :ride :teeth

I didn't see where the door was to get in. I also don't see how that could possibly be one of the most dangerous motorcycle stunts. If you fall off and have on decent leathers, you just slide until you stop. It's not like you're going to hit something hard like a tree (Isle of Man) or the ground (back flips).

With over 5 G's a fall of 3 feet would be like a fall of over 15 feet.

only ones and zeroes
Pretty interesting, but for a Guy (pun) that races IOMTT, this must seem tame by comparison.

thanks for posting the vid

that's pretty nice to see the science involved in the stunt too.
