Group ride with 5150 Feb 24th

Everyone!!
we're having a group ride this weekend. We havent decided destination yet, but the choices are: Capitola/Santa Cruz, or Highwy 25 with Redline Ryders. Either way its going to be a huge turn out. If anyone wants to ride please check the 5150 forum for updates. Ill post here as well. Hope to see everyone there!

i am going to be busy at home. working. and i am sick. :( it would hav ebeen perfect to scrub in the new tires too.

well im from oakland and you're in alameda..If you want to meet at the 7-11 right across from the park street bridge and then ride down to Union City together, thats an option too. Im going to have to pick someone up from bay farm so it will work out. You have my number, let me know. And bring CbrVixen as well. The girls would love to meet another female rider.

Hey guys!

If you two ( dark angel/G-monie) are serious about ridintg with us, you have the option of either riding up to Union City by 11:30-12:00 and meeting up with us, or maybe meet at In n Out burgers next to 237. We can stop by and pick you two up. But i will need to know for sure whether you'll be going. We are estimating about 30+ if not 50+ riders to show up tomorrow. So it would be sort of out of the way to go there and its a no show. Call me by noontime if you want us to pick you up. 510-326-1731, or let Instance know. I will be meeting him and Cbr Vixen at 11:00 tomorrow. STeve! did you get your 600? I hope so, so i can finally show you how to be a hooligan..hahaha

If you don't get a call from me, I'm not going to make it. I was suppose to go to SF Sunday, but I think things have changed.

I haven't heard from DA yet, but Steve might make it -- He promised his woman he wouldn't lift the front OR rear of his bike tomorrow though. :twofinger

As soon as the details are worked out and I know for sure that I will make it, I'll let you know.

fug still stuck on break in miles! would never keep up with anyone let alone take me forever to just make it down to redwood city. (60mph is 5k already and you know how bad I want to crack it open).

I'll be on break-in as well. 7K is good for 90 MPH, which is well in excess of the national speed limit, so...

well, you all are now about 15 min's into the ride on a gorgeous bay area day. Enjoy!!! hopefully my bike will have the miles by the next big fun ride. at least to make highway w/o getting run over in the slow lane :p

thesteveco: am religious about sticking to mfr. break-in, 5k is max for now. last new bike I had the t-chain go on the freeway, on the 2nd night! (was not abusing it) it was thanksgiving eve about midnight so the tow took forever to show up + bad part of town no one wanted the job. my dad came to wait with me and was packing heat :D


oh yeah, hey Ken, your sig link needs the "." after the "www" part (see, people actually do use the links!)
