I just bought a Garmin iQue. I LOVE it. 200 mhz processor, runs on Palm software, and it's also an MP3 player. It is not waterproof though (which is fine with me).
You get basic US map software with it, but you'd need to purchase more detailed maps.
I bought mounting hardware for my bike and still waiting for it to come in.
Also, a kit so I can plug it into my bike. The batteries wear fast.
Garmin makes great GPS products.
