good roads around Merced

Hey I'm new to the area and wondering what roads I should be checking out around the Merced area. Any suggestions would be great!

RAMPAAAAAAGE!
I haven't done as much exploring around here as I would like but these are some of the roads I have done that aren't too bad.

Highway 59 thru Snelling then a left onto J59/La Grange Rd. It'll take you to 132 or all the way thru to 108. I usually head over to 108 & take it west and turn off at Knight's Ferry. I used to ride Sonora Rd/Orange Blossom Rd, Rodden Rd, River Rd back towards Oakdale/Modesto a lot & those are pretty fun.

Also instead of turning left on J59 you can go straight on Merced Falls Rd and that will wind around to 132 as well. Or instead of going all the way to 132 you can take a right towards lake mcclure/mcswain and then take another right before you get to the rec area entrance, Hornitos Rd. That will take you all the way back around to Highway 140 in Catheys Valley. Old Toll Rd and Bear Valley Rd, both off Hornitos Rd, I'm pretty sure will take you up to 49 which I'm sure you know can be a lot of fun itself. The area of 49 between Mariposa & Coulterville/132 (aka the little dragon) is a good ride and worth the trip by itself, specially if you make the trip during the week, weekends suck some times with the tourists & sunday drivers ect. I haven't been out this way in a while so I can't say what condition the roads are in right now.

This is all I could come up with off the top of my head. If I think of any more I'll post up.
