girlfriends riding with another guy?

Anyone have this experience?

My current girlfriend gets a text from a dude from her past that she admittedly still has the hots for. According to her they've never consummated this mutual attraction they have for each other.

He got a new Harley and invited her for a ride. She said yes then told me he invited her. Initially I didn't want to come off as being uptight. She asked if she could borrow my helmet.

I am on the fence about cutting her loose in all honesty. I trust she wouldn't do anything other than feel him between her legs, press her tits up against his back and give him a hard on while they ride. I love her, but I feel like a doormat, AGAIN.

The emboldened is troubling...?

I'm no therapist or even close, so this is just what I'd do. I probably "allow" (wrong word) her to go, since I think being petty/jealous about this is the wrong way to go.

Can you reciprocate? Go on ride or to a movie with female friend? Also petty lol...but might let your gf know how it feels?

I would absolutely feel like a doormat. Sorry man. No bueno. She ain't your girlfriend by my square standards. He wouldn't have called, she wouldn't have answered. This just ain't right. Like Jed says, go ahead and let her go. Change the locks while she's out.

If only you had a Harley?

If the door schwings both ways; your ex-gf got a Harley and invited you out for a ride. Cool right?

This is what my buddy said as well. Its not like she never been on a bike before. She rode with me a lot. Also dude is in a long term relationship but tgat doesnt mean shit from my experience.

I told her shes free to do anything her heart desires but not with me. So we are on break as of today. Breakup over a motorcycle ride might seem harsh but Im not playing second string.

Doing [whatever] with someone else when she admits that she still has feelings for him ain't really cool. I'd tell her that you think so. Ultimatums aren't a good way to go, but you don't need to sit there and say nothing either. She may not know that it hurts you, so don't play games and assume she understands what's going on between your ears. I'd also tell her WHY it hurts you.

That or strap a dead fish and rub some dog poo on his exhaust pipe.

I think hes a douche if hes in a relationship and is taking my girlfriend out, but this mutual attraction goes back to when they were both addicts. They are both long term recovery and they share that lifestyle. Anyway she knows im hurt and I told her do what she wants/needs.

I also told her its really not possible to have closure with him until she processes what she needs to - and then by that time its probly too late. Im not stickin around you know? If I really rocked her world she wouldnt even be a considering him.

He wouldn't be coming around offering her a ride on his harley if he didn't want more.

She wouldn't be accepting the ride if she wasn't interested in at least flirting with him and had a reasonable amount of respect for you.

This could be a test to see what you do (some women do that, you know). I'd tell her that you don't find this acceptable and if she insists then it's over. Some women feel the need to test their man to see if he has any balls.

Personally, I'd cut her lose and look for a woman who would respect me and not play these kinds of games.

One question: Is it possible this dude is being friendly toward her and just wants to show off his ride?

Personally as a long time moto rider - I dont offer rides to women unless I am interested in possibly more.

Stoppie on his face. That or ghost 'er.

The first part is antithetical to the second. Stoppie on the face is direct and to the point. Ghosting is some high school game-playing bullshit.

OP: straight up tell her to get off and start looking for something else. If she wants to be a fuck-buddy and you’re good with that until you meet your next ex then cool.

No it's not possible. And the respect he is showing you is, well, non-existent. The oldest meme in the world since motos were invented is taking a girl for a ride. Jaysus.

Gawd I'm glad I'm old and beyond all the testo-esto foolishness this episode represents. Like the other guy said, if you can live with this kind of f-buddy stuff, well, okay. But I gently suggest you stop calling her your girlfriend.

What they said. It's not on you to tell her what she can't do, but if she was serious about a relationship she would not be considering this.

If he was really interested in just showing off the bike to her, and knows her current ex boyfriend rides too; he would have invited you to come and see the bike and go for a ride with them.
