Gaerne Supermoto Boots?

Sidi Force are all over ebay for $250, so that is another option. If I want the latest and greatestI can pick up Crosssfires for $380. I might have a hook-up on the AXO's for $100 but they are going to be discontinued so I would have to get new ones when stores run out of soles. I'll stop by motostrano some time this week to check the Gaerne's. Where did there become so many super moto boot options, is it a sign of things to come?

i have i pair of axo sm boots i would not buy them unless you want a broken ankle. They were get till they broke in then they had no support. i thought the same thing i can get a pair 169 sweet cheap but you get for what you pay for . go with the gaerne's or sidi from a person that has the axo boots

Thanks for the feedback. I broke my foot a few years back so ankle support if very important to me. AXO boots are off the list!

I think I might just break down and go for the Crossfires.

I have the crossfires with the SRS sole stuff. Had the same issue about the $$$ but I wanted good protection. They are everything you think and more, fit great, very comfortable, not bulky (like the Tech-10's), good articulation due to the double hinged ankle (note that the forces DO NOT have this) and all the parts are replaceable.

I've used mine for dirt and SM and love 'em. Looks like they'll last for a long time too....

I love my Sidi Force's! I have had them for over a year with a lot of miles on them. They hold up in crashes on the asphalt.

I have the Gaerne boots and like them allot. They run 1 size big though, normally I wear a 45 but with these I wear a 44. The screws that hold the replaceable soles should be loctited in to.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm going to hit up Motostrano tomorrow and more than likely pick up the crossfires. My health insurance already paid $50,000 for my left foot, I might as well protect it!
