Not in CA. You need a lawyer and lot of time and money to get one, or a residence in a shall issue county

PinkPistols do A LOT for 2A in Kalifornia. Thanks to their involvment few of San Framcisco retadred gun restrictions were struck down.

Lassen County is better than most, but you still have to know someone in law enforcement to get a permit.
They have been known to "Round Table" an application. If any LEO knows you and does not like you...no permit.

I remember when Stanislaus and Orange were light green and Yolo and Lassen were dark green. Seems like things are slipping in the wrong direction. I hope you're right about this turning dark green in a few years but this is the People's Republik of Kalifornia not Nevada. :rolleyes
