Who the fuck is she going to sue? And why? The mall for not rushing to her aid? For not having a sufficient barrier around the fountain to prevent her from falling in when she walking around with blinders on? Jesus fucking Christ, I hate our sue-happy society. It's ALWAYS someone else's fault. FUCK!

Guess: Because they didn't have signs saying that your dumbass move may be recorded, and shared by a security guard with a videophonecam.

I'm sure some shark is contending that mall security camera media should be private, and that in her moment of 'slight oversight during a very important text session' should have remained private unless it helps solve a crime or helps create a frenzy and get the Nielsen ratings up during a key period.

There really should be a railing around it - didn't they just fish some ex-kid out of a fountain in SF?

I'm outraged - that the original hasn't been released.

then why when her phone was stolen did they refuse to allow her to watch the security tapes from that day??

Obviously she got up and walked out but really post it up on YouTube?? Really?

It's dumb in so many ways.

Most importantly, the whole thing could have been avoided by her just sitting down by the fountain to send her text. To expect to be able to wander around like Stevie Wonder in some public place without any care or concern for the world and people around you is just beyond stupid and selfish.

Sheesh, if that were me I'd be laughing my ass off and posting it on my facebook. I've done stupider shit.

Personally, when I see douche bags like that in the mall it pisses me off, and I generally tend NOT to move for them, or I yell "WAKE UP!" just before they walk into me.

Now...with this in mind, I think I'll take a fall next time one of them bumps into me and SUE!!! :rofl
