I dunno. Seems pretty small for a gator. And 11 years is a pretty good track record. This seems sort of like a scaled up pit bull legislation thing. "The animal is inherently dangerous if over _____ size". On the other hand dogs have a long history of domestication and training and such. Gators? Not that I'm aware of.

Like most predatory animals, they attack humans for 3 reasons:

1.) Lack of food
2.) Confused and thinks that we are its natural prey (shark and surfer thing)
3.) Territorial disputes

Seems like this 'gator is fine.

Naturally, its a wild animal and my one day rip her arm off - but like Loue stated - she should be free to live with her gator if it doesn't endanger others.
