Flash after installing after market exhaust

Hello Barf,

Just purchased a 2007 GSXR1000. Bike has Leo Vince pipes on them, but looks like the ecu has not been flashed and there is no pcv. The bike runs fine as far as i can tell.

Question is, do we need to flash the ECU after installing an after market exhaust?

To add a bit more information, its not a full exhaust. The bike has Slip On Exhaust w/ cat eliminator.

The bike will run fine without a flash/fuel modulator with only slip ons. Once you remove the cat/add a y pipe, you NEED a flash or tune with fuel modulator, because you will have altered your air/fuel ratios. Your bike is likely running too lean which is causing additional wear on the engine.
