First review of the Husky 701

3rd gear no-clutch wheelies, fully adjustable suspension, smooth counterbalanced 67hp, 330lbs, for $11,300. In 17 years of riding I have never bought a new bike, but this one is pretty damn tempting...

Oh man the SM is so sexy.

Dumb question: how long do these motors run for? Would they work as full-time commuters (~25k miles per year) or would they not like steady RPM highway cruising?

SM has better brakes. Having done it on a klr, and now a drz, and potentially with this/ or ktm, enduro and a set of extra sm wheels is easiest to switch back and forth

Yeah, but 330 (or 320) lbs off road is too much. But a 330 lb street bike is pretty cool.

Not really. Most bikes drop 30%+ when you roll them out the door.

These won't depreciate quickly. Look at the history of 690SMC prices.
