First review of the Husky 701

Oh man the SM is so sexy.

Dumb question: how long do these motors run for? Would they work as full-time commuters (~25k miles per year) or would they not like steady RPM highway cruising?

If I wanted an an SM for daily riding/commuting, then throw on some knobies and hit the dirt on the weekends, which would be the better bike?

SM has better brakes. Having done it on a klr, and now a drz, and potentially with this/ or ktm, enduro and a set of extra sm wheels is easiest to switch back and forth

tubless tires/wheels on the SM. nice. Now I wait for these to hit depreciate to 5k ish ha ha. But that will be a very long wait ..sigh

Chopping the 690 SMC sales in the US, blueballing and then releasing the 701 is just what we needed to get the on-the-fencers on our team.
