Finished my 1st Carbon Fiber job

Voodoo

Road Warrior
I used professional grade 2X2 twill weave Carbon Fiber to cover (for beauty and strength) these parts on my '05 GSXR 1000 Streetfighter project:

rear cowl
left and right side lower tank fairing covers
plus the top plate of a Streetfighter headlight fairing (not entirely visible in pic of the bike).

Im ready to do a really nice job of covering anyone's moto fairings and some other parts for them as well.

Last pic is of my bike:

2005 GSXR 1000 Streetfighter project with all kinds of aftermarket and performance/suspension upgrades (HP and torque surpass the engine in stock form).

Hope you like what you see. But if you don't I really could care less :twofinger:ride

It looks like it could use a bit more sanding and recoating for surface finish but those are looking pretty sweet! :thumbup:thumbup

Is the laminate balanced? What was the Poissons ratio? Oh, sorry, too many years in aircraft design.

These pics were taken before the last few
sanding and clear coating. They look a lot better
but I don't have any other pics
