Smile & Wave for me!
Played game night with my kids using Jackbox.tv and we had a blast! Love the tech that helps us stay in touch. Using Zoom for bible studies and games too. :laughing

The weather outside is beautiful.

I am helping people because we were able to keep our doors open.

I am delivery soup to a certain sassy pants later this evening.

I discovered I enjoy working from home. This is my first time doing it and my stress level is so much lower compared to my workspace.

I REALLY enjoy my new hobby of baking fresh bread. I wish I would have known how easy it is a decade ago.

My three-fourths and I were joking the other day that this is what our retirement will look like -drinking coffee, talking daily long walks, doing things around the house, and spending time together. I am very much looking forward to retirement!

Yeast is hard to come by.

Thankfully we have at least a month's worth if not more and my wife has a sourdough starter that she began 10 years ago.

I’ve been “retired “, the term used was involuntary termination! The positive is I’ve officially started my retirement. :):cool:thumbup
Let the riding begin. :ride

Not a lot has changed for us other than my wife is not travelling every other week (she's in sales). I'm in Ag-Tech so we have not been impacted by travel restrictions excepting we need to do work back in NY State, I was going to travel out to deliver equipment, and/or fly back but that seems to be a no go. Interstate shipping still seems to be working smoothly, so I'll be shipping stuff. One of our contractors has been coming by to do work and brings his girlfriend and dog to spend some time outside: great people and fun to be around.
As far as the home life, it actually has been great: we live on our ranch and things are going as normal: tractor work, prunning trees, developing the new almond field, etc. Nice and quiet. As I said, the wife has been home so we are enjoying catching up, not having to rush to work, etc. Doggie is having a great time with us playing ball a few times a day, gong for walks, riding on the atv etc. Poor bugger is going to be sad when this is all over. I continue to tolerance train the cat by pestering the shit out of him constantly: he still seems to like me as he follow/stalks me everywhere I go. I'm farther ahead on the garden this year than ever before and we'll have everything we need except lettuce! Haven't had time to work on the bikes, but that will start in the next few weeks. When this is over we'll be better organized/cleaned up than ever before and will be able to enjoy the summer.
Biggest pita is I'm the personal shopper for my dad (89) and his wife (80) who live on the property. They are also quite social so I've had to ban them from leaving and threatened to chain the gate so they can't escape and do something stupid. We never had children so now I have two and they have grey hair.

No worries, we gave some to my sister in law yesterday.

My wife has had a sourdough starter going for 10+ years so I think we're good but thanks for the kind offer.

Your bread looks great. :thumbup

I've been enjoying time with Felix...

That's one cute pup.

During this virus one really comes to know the value of having a pet.

They're like, "virus, what virus, isn't it time for you to feed me now?" :thumbup

3 cats and 3 fish tanks here not to mention the menagerie outside at the numerous bird feeders.

I especially love the crows.

One has trained me to toss him a handful of unsalted in the shell peanuts at 4pm each day as he is too large to get onto the feeder that the Acorn Woodpeckers and BlueJays dive bomb.

That's really cool about the crow.
