How to post pics. There is probably a post somewhere for this, but actually it's really easy.
If it's a picture on your C drive on your CPU- then just hit the 'attach' button which is below the typing box. Then browse through the directories on your C drive till you find it. I think though if you hit the 'preview post' button- you will lose the photo though. So do the attach file last.
If the pic is uploaded somewhere on the web, try this- find the photo on the internet on it's webpage. Then right click with the pointer over the pic. You'll see a 'properties' button at the bottom of your list of choices in a box that pops up. The properties box tells you all about the object that you're right clicking- including the location of the file on the internet. Hit that, and it'll show you the web address of the pic. Highlight the web address (at the bottom) with your pointer- then hit 'Control C' on your keyboard. This is the 'cut' function. You can do it with any graphic, or pic anywhere. Then in the typing box, hit the 'IMG' button. Hit 'Control V' on your keyboard after you click on the 'img' box and PASTE the web address into the line for the 'http://..... ' The webadress magically appears. For example, in the upper left corner- the barf logo.
The code looks like this: IMG]http://www.bayarearidersforum.com/forums/images/vBulletin_logo.gif[/IMG]
Since your pic is located on the web- it's location is
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid87/p2c45889176923f38f76001417c85a672/fa9e081e.jpg
Once you know this, just add the [img... tags, and good to go.
See. Easy as pie. (uh, cake, i think). Sounds complicated, but it's really very easy. Oh, and this is how you can steal, I mean liberate, whatever you want off the web in terms of graphics and photos (and why I had to add the 'pashnit.com' words to all 2000 of my photos since they were popping up everywhere!).
Try that and see it if makes sense.
