The evidence does not contradict either story and witnesses claim to have seen both versions. Unless there's some other info we're unaware of, I don't see how they can indict, so I vote 'No'.

The rabble rousers seem to think that threatening riots and violence is going to make the Grand Jury vote to indict. And who knows, it just might. I tend to believe the cop, why would he intentionally ruins his life to kill some punk, he knows or knew that you just can't kill people all willy-nilly. If the evidence shows that he attacked him inside his car, he brought it on himself.

I was not there so I really do not know all the details, just basing my judgement upon a larger pattern of how these things tend to go.

I read somewhere back when this first happened that the officer sustained an eye socket (orbital) fracture. Tough to fake/lie about this injury. Seems like there was a struggle in the car.

Too bad the evidence presented to the Grand Jury is secret.

Also people will say the riots are justified because of rampant racism. Of course, the riots will be aimed at local businesses and innocent people, because the rioters don't have the balls to stand up to anyone who might actually be oppressing them. It is much easier to oppress somebody weaker than they are instead.

What about how they skewed the perception of the event itself? The lead that was repeated ad naseum was "Officer shoots unarmed black teen". I guess "Officer shoots violent suspect after struggle" though just as accurate doesn't really grab the viewers...

Weren't there at least a couple shootings before, not involving police and I think killing at least one?

There will be riots in Oakland. Probably some shoes will go missing. In SF though? Bunch of white folks will hold sitting protest on the corner of Market&Castro. Then they'll go for soy late.
