Feeler for my 04 honda 450 rolling chassis

Well fellas my ol trusy girl decided to have a major failure.

Piston went, took the exhaust valves, destroyed the rest pf the head, cylinder is toast. Cases look fine from the outside but theres a valve head down in between the crank.

Its just not worth it to me at this point to rebuild the motor.

Otherwise, the bikes in great shape. Race tech suspension front and rear. Spring for 220lbs. Fmf header, white bros muffler. Renthal chain wheels. Just put new tires and added tubliss system. Lots of extras. Clean title with reg until next july.

What could i realistically expect to see for this? I know a decent 04 could see about 2200 to 2400. My bike other than the motor is a great bike.

not worth much as a whole... maybe better parting out.
It would be a great candidate for a cr500 motor swap though :teeth.

Pics would help but as a roller with a blown engine I wouldn't pay more than $800 if everything else was clean and tidy.
it may be better to part it if you want max $ return, but it is a lot of work.
Old crfs are getting cheap as they are at the point where these types of thing happen unless the bucks have been spent to keep ahead of it with engine rebuilds.
