fairings and mini bikes

How benificial are fairings on these tiny bikes? Are they just for show? I was gonna make my grom track only and was thinking of just tearing all the plastics off if to save a little weight and have one less thing to replace.

It really depends on where you are riding, and what type of riding. If you are speaking about the Grom it's probably not worth the bother.

On my GPRs I have noticed a difference when I've had them on vs off.

For something like Stockton the benefit would be the bike would be more likely to slide in a low side than get caught on something. Not really a big issue though, and why it's probably not worth putting the on the Grom.
