cuople thoughts...

one, that is the prettiest coyete i have ever seen, very well feed, good coat, and not maingy

i would have kicked it a couple times within the time of that video

its physical appearance aside, it is exbititing plague, if I had a gun, one shot would be a warning, the next several would have been in the head and chest.....

ps too bad i have a reason to think it has rabies, otherwise if I did had to kill it i would have loved to have the pelt (not let it the animal go to compelte waste)

Oh that's good. Invite it to use your shoe as a chew toy to train it to be LESS afraid of humans for the next time it encounters a smaller version it can handle like a kid.

Would you have given your hand instead?

Thats why you always carry a stick when walking in the wild.

At first I was like, "Fuck that guy for baiting a hungry coyote with food." Then I was like, "Fuck that crazy coyote."

Something doesn't compute. Well-fed, beautiful coat. Maybe it snowed recently and it hasn't easten in a week? Maybe it was kicked out of its pack and can't share in the spoils of the hunts? Still, starving coyotes don't do half-assed nip attacks on adults.

This is a mystery for a BARF biologist.

Hahaha that reminds me of one I saw at Yosemite last year hanging out at the gate getting hand outs.
Nothing a good dose of high speed lead poisoning won't cure.

No, but the freakin' idiot did THAT TOO!

He's all "HAY! HAY! Come here.... come here guy.... HAY! HAY!"

WTF is that?

I would have done what you're SUPPOSED to do and waive my arms and yell and charge him to scare him away and make him afraid of humans.

Interesting, the way that the coyote wouldn't go near the housing. He only backed off when the guy got closer to the dwellings.

Also, why is there just one ? that camera man would've been fuxored if there'd been 5 of them

Acts like the coyotes that I heard about the loggers feeding once in a while up in the forest. They're still wild, but are just tame enough to know there might be a meal involved. If you get a juvenile during their first winter they will be especially aggressive. I heard this from the Forest Service guys, so it might all be b.s.
