I work at a biotech company in Foster City - my boss, a Director, is looking for a new Executive Assistant. This person will support my boss primarily, and will provide secondary support (mostly calendar management and travel arrangements) for me and 2 other managers (these managers are actually located on the East coast).
We need someone with:
- minimum 3-5 years of administrative/executive assistant experience;
- high level of knowledge/experience with Lotus Notes REQUIRED (e-mail and calendaring for multiple people);
- excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Powerpoint, and Excel) and experience creating and modifying complex documents;
- excellent communication skills (written and spoken), and a high comfort level in interacting with senior management;
- proven teamwork/collaboration skills (i.e., the ability to coordinate well with other Executive Assistants to plan and execute meetings and events).
If you have these qualifications, or know someone who does, PM me.
One more thing. My boss is a bit on the tough side - she can be pretty critical and demanding, and is not warm and fuzzy at all (no, she is not abusive or anything extreme). This person will need a thick skin and an ability to multi-task on many high-priority items at once. With that said, the pay is pretty good - up to $60k for an EXPERIENCED Executive Assistant. Good benefits (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) with company match, stock options, 15 days of PTO (vacation), on-site gym & cafeteria, and much more.
Thanks,
Marianne
